Business owners from all generations are feeling more confident about how the economy is affecting their businesses, according to the Spark Business Barometer. What’s even better for people interested in selling commercial property in the Florida Keys is that the younger business owners, the Millennials, are feeling much more optimistic about the future of their business in the economy.
A recent study from Spark Business Barometer estimated that 40 percent of small business owners are in a better position than where they were before, but a whopping 62 percent of Millennial small business owners are seeing an increase in sales. Nearly half are planning to start hiring more employees.
If the trend continues, we’ll see even more Millennial entrepreneurs, because this generation really values entrepreneurship. Nearly three-quarters of millennials believe that startups and entrepreneurship are essential to driving jobs in this economy. Across the nation, 59 percent of Millennials, unfortunately, believe that government issues make it har to start a business, but the good news is that Florida is seen as incredibly business friendly compared to the other states in the nation.
