Prospera is an economic-development, nonprofit organization. Its goal is to help Hispanic entrepreneurs either establish or expand their business. Prospera even has business grants that don’t have to be repaid. Prospera can help business owners work on their business and marketing plans, acquire legal and accounting help, and with branding, among plenty of other things. The non-profit also can help entrepreneurs apply for commercial loans, SBA loans or microloans from sources outside of the NPO.
Prospera strives to help Hispanic entrepreneurs gain the training, resources, and support that they need in order to make their business grow. It doesn’t even charge for its services, because it’s supported by individuals, government funding and corporations. Prospera has offices across Florida, but staff members are frequently willing to commute to other cities in order to help provide services, so you shouldn’t allow location issues prevent you from seeking services. To get started, contact them through their website. Then, you will be asked to attend a Prospera orientation: “Successful Strategies for New Businesses.” If your business is already established though, you can simply contact them to set up an appointment o discuss ways that they can help you.
