More About Pigeon Key

Pigeon Key is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. Most people go for a historical tour. The cost of historical tours is $12.00 per person unless you’re a Monroe County resident. Monroe County residents pay just $9.00. Kids under 5-years-old get their tickets for gree. After the historical tour, many people enjoy a picnic lunch that they brought from home, go fishing off the dock, or even snorkel. If you’ve never snorkled at Pigeon Key, we highly recommend it! You do need to bring your own dive flag and snorkle gear and fill out a liability waiver.

Pigeon Key Visitor’s Center

In order to actually get to Pigeon Key, you just have to visit the visitor’s center which is located at 2010 Overseas Highway in Marathon, FL 33050. You’ll find it between Hyatt Place Hotel and the Marriott Hotel. From there, you’ll take a ferry ride or personal watercraft.
