About The 54th Annual Old Island Days Art Festival

The Old Island Days Art Festival brings over 100 fine artists Old Town in Key West. The setting is perfect for it, because it’s nestled among gorgeous historical attractions like the Audubon House, the Truman Little White House and Mel Fisher Museum. The annual Old Island Days Art Festival is sponsored by the Key West Art Center. When this fine arts festival was started, it was to raise money for the renovation of the historic building at 301 Front Street.  That same building is now actually home to the Key West Art Center. It displays artwork for its local members.
The very first Annual Old Island Days Art Festival was held on the sidewalk on Front Street. The artists used clothespins to attach their fine art pieces to the fence in front of the old Custom House.
